Why Ram Navami Is celebrated?

Ram Navami is spring Hindu festival that celebrates the Birthday of Hindu god Shree Ram.
He is seventh Avataar of Lord Vishnu.

Celebrating the festival of Ram Navami, on the ninth day of bright half ( Shukla Paksha) in the Hindu calendar month of Chaitra, this typically occurs in the Gregorian calendar month of March - April every year. It indicates the removal of bad Power and entrance of divine Power on the earth.

The festival celebrates the decent of lord Vishnu as a Ram Avtar, through his birth to King Dashrath and queen Kaushalya in Ayodhya.

The day is marked by Ram Katha recitals or reading of Lord Ram's Stories. Many people visit a temple, others pray within their home, and some participate in Bhajan or kirtan with music as a part of puja and aarati.

Some devotees mark the evet by taking miniature statues of the infant Ram. charitable events and community meals is also organised. The festival is an occasion for moral reflection.
